Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Wayleave Warden to assist with obtaining and managing permissions (wayleaves) for utility works on private and public land. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between the company, landowners, and local authorities to ensure all necessary approvals are in place for project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess locations requiring wayleave agreements.
  • Engage with landowners, tenants, and stakeholders to negotiate access.
  • Record and maintain accurate data related to permissions and agreements.
  • Conduct site visits to assess land conditions and ensure compliance.
  • Support project teams in resolving access or wayleave-related issues.
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Basic understanding of land access, property boundaries, and utility works.
  • Ability to work independently and travel to multiple sites.
  • Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Valid driving license (if fieldwork is required).
