Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Wayleave Warden to assist with obtaining and managing permissions (wayleaves) for utility works on private and public land. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between the company, landowners, and local authorities to ensure all necessary approvals are in place for project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess locations requiring wayleave agreements.
- Engage with landowners, tenants, and stakeholders to negotiate access.
- Record and maintain accurate data related to permissions and agreements.
- Conduct site visits to assess land conditions and ensure compliance.
- Support project teams in resolving access or wayleave-related issues.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Basic understanding of land access, property boundaries, and utility works.
- Ability to work independently and travel to multiple sites.
- Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Valid driving license (if fieldwork is required).
