Electrical Lead – Helsinki

Up to €120,000 DOE + €13,000 Tax Free Subsistence + Flights, Accom, Bills Paid

First Task Professional are presently seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to join the business to deliver a 50MW data centre just outside of Helsinki.

The city boasts one of the highest quality of life indices in the world and is a metropolitan hub with significant investment for data centres.

The project is undergoing a rock excavation at present and will run until early 2028 with high likelihood of follow-on projects in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of Electrical Engineers
  • Propose design changes to improve cost efficiency, programme delivery, and quality
  • Demonstrate strong commercial awareness
  • Monitor construction quality, workmanship, and materials
  • Coordinate with contracts manager, site engineers, and other leads to ensure accurate, timely information for subcontractors and site staff
  • Review drawings/specifications; promptly report errors/omissions to the design team
  • Define project resource needs and oversee team performance
  • Maintain the highest standards of health & safety

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field)
  • Strong procurement knowledge
  • Experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing
  • Proven ability to lead MEP teams effectively
  • Data Centre MEP project delivery experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
