Our client, a leading manufacturer based in Stirling, is seeking to hire a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding team.
This position is shift-based, including both dayshift and nightshift responsibilities.
The role involves fault finding and diagnostics during emergency breakdowns or planned maintenance situations, as well as modifying and improving machinery and the plant.
Candidates should possess excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills and have an apprentice-trained or HNC equivalent qualification in a mechanical field.
Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics is beneficial, and the salary for this position is competitive, although specific figures are not mentioned.

The Role:

Fault finding and diagnostics in emergency breakdown or planned situations
Working with a planned maintenance system and reactive maintenance
Modification and improvement of machinery and the plant

The Candidate:

Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills,
Apprentice trained/HNC or equivalent qualification in a mechanical qualification
Experience with pneumatics & hydraulics would be beneficial
