Laboratory Technician

Location: Stirling

Salary: 32,000 to 37,000

An opportunity has opened for a Laboratory Technician to join an engineering company based in Stirling. The ideal candidate will have a background within science, electronics or similar and will have experience of calibration equipment. A bonus would be knowledge of ISO 17025.

The company offer 32 days holiday including bank holidays as well as a bonus scheme for all employees on a yearly basis. The role is a standard 9 to 5 role with a 37.5 hour week.

Laboratory Technician Key Skills:

  • Experience of using calibration equipment
  • Ideally a background within a science or electronics based background
  • Laboratory experience would be a bonus
  • ISO 17025 experience
  • Calibration, repairs and diagnostics experience
  • Maintenance of equipment
  • Electrical / Electronic safety knowledge

Laboratory Technician Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibration on monitoring systems
  • Fault finding and diagnosing any faults
  • Performing maintenance duties on any equipment that requires it
  • Making sure calibration records are in line with GMP
  • Keeping to ISO 17025
