Avionic Technicians - UK, Hampshire (Contract Opportunities)
38-41 per hour Inside IR35.
6 Months initially, may extend further.
Join a fast-paced MRO team supporting major UK defence and aerospace programmes. We're looking for skilled Avionic Technicians to deliver high-quality aircraft maintenance on short-term contracts.
What You'll Do:
Maintain, repair, and upgrade aircraft systems, electronics, and components.
Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical/electronic systems.
Work in line with MAA Regulatory Articles (RA), MRP Part 145, Quality Assurance (QA), and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
Ensure work meets technical standards and contractual requirements within your Responsibility, Accountability, and Authority (RAA).
Mentor apprentices or junior staff as required.
Adapt to flexible schedules and work locations to meet deadlines.
You'll Need:
Recognised trade apprenticeship or equivalent aircraft maintenance experience.
Knowledge of aviation maintenance processes, including Human Factors, FOD control, tool control, health & safety, and COSHH.
Strong technical, organisational, and communication skills.
Experience in commercial or defence aviation is a plus.
Legal right to work in the UK and ability to obtain SC security clearance.
