Avionic Technicians - UK, Hampshire (Contract Opportunities)
38-41 per hour Inside IR35.
6 Months initially, may extend further.

Join a fast-paced MRO team supporting major UK defence and aerospace programmes. We're looking for skilled Avionic Technicians to deliver high-quality aircraft maintenance on short-term contracts.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain, repair, and upgrade aircraft systems, electronics, and components.

  • Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical/electronic systems.

  • Work in line with MAA Regulatory Articles (RA), MRP Part 145, Quality Assurance (QA), and Safety Management Systems (SMS).

  • Ensure work meets technical standards and contractual requirements within your Responsibility, Accountability, and Authority (RAA).

  • Mentor apprentices or junior staff as required.

  • Adapt to flexible schedules and work locations to meet deadlines.

You'll Need:

  • Recognised trade apprenticeship or equivalent aircraft maintenance experience.

  • Knowledge of aviation maintenance processes, including Human Factors, FOD control, tool control, health & safety, and COSHH.

  • Strong technical, organisational, and communication skills.

  • Experience in commercial or defence aviation is a plus.

  • Legal right to work in the UK and ability to obtain SC security clearance.
