Hybrid Sales & Business Development Manager – Luxury Bespoke Joinery

Location: Hybrid (Commutable to Hampshire)

Salary: Up to £75,000 basic Uncapped OTE Car or Allowance Profit Share Bonus Scheme

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a talented Sales & Business Development professional to join a leading manufacturer of luxury, bespoke joinery. This company delivers exquisite, tailor-made solutions for some of the UK’s most prestigious properties, collaborating with renowned architects, interior designers, and high-net-worth clients on projects that demand the highest levels of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

This hybrid role combines the strategic oversight of a Sales Manager with the hands-on client engagement of a Business Development Manager – perfect for someone who can balance leadership with relationship building at the highest level.

The Role

You will be central to securing high-value, high-profile project wins. Part Sales Manager, part Business Development Manager, you will combine strategic leadership with personal involvement in cultivating relationships, ensuring the business remains the trusted advisor for exceptional residential and commercial joinery projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and motivating the business development team to achieve ambitious growth targets.
  • Building long-term, trusted relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and high-net-worth clients.
  • Managing the full sales cycle – from tender to close – on complex, bespoke joinery projects.
  • Collaborating closely with estimating, marketing, and projects teams to deliver excellence at every stage.
  • Identifying new markets and opportunities and developing innovative strategies to secure them.
  • Representing the business at client meetings, site visits, industry events, and factory tours.
Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has proven success in sales leadership and business development within a high-end, project-based industry (construction, interiors, bespoke manufacturing, or similar).
  • Is a natural relationship builder, equally at ease with high-net-worth clients and senior design professionals.
  • Understands the full sales process from first contact through to post-project relationship management.
  • Can read and interpret technical drawings, and ideally has experience in joinery, interiors, or related fields.
  • Thrives in a hybrid working environment, with the flexibility to travel to client sites and the Hampshire base as needed.
