GRB is partnering with a market-leading independent accounting firm in Stockport.

Due to recent growth, the company is looking to hire a highly motivated graduate to provide its clients with exceptional accounting services.

The firm has a strong track record of promoting employees from within the business, so there is excellent scope for career progression beyond this role.

What would I be doing?

  • Guiding prospective clients through the onboarding and business formation process
  • Maintaining accurate records through purpose-built digital tools and overseeing the preparation and submission of VAT returns, annual accounts, and corporate tax filings.
  • Handling all necessary tax registrations for newly established companies
  • Collecting financial data from clients each quarter to produce accurate management reports
  • Preparing error-free year-end financial statements within three months of each company’s financial year-end

What do we need from you?

  • A 2:1 or above in Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline OR professional experience in the accounting & finance sector.
  • A B/6 or above in GCSE Maths.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to interview for and start a role in Greater Manchester ASAP.

Please note the role is 5 days a week in office, so remote/ hybrid working is not an option.
