Description
The Accounts Assistant role is initially a temporary assignment and will be full time office based in Stockport- Reporting to the Finance Manager Key duties will include:
- Prepare and post daily banking.
- Prepare and post group bank statement.
- Check and process finance settlements.
- Housekeeping of cash accounts and assist with debtor meetings.
- Process refunds and CHAPS payments.
- Ensure all internal and external customers and suppliers are handled with courtesy
- Be prepared to accept additional responsibility as required to meet the demands of changing circumstances and standards.
- Ensure all company financial controls are adhered to
- Provide assistance to Finance Hub leadership team, particularly at month end.
Profile
In order to apply for the role you should:
Ideally have experience in Sales Ledger/Accounts Receivable or Bank reconciliation
Be able to consider a temporary role for 12 months
Be able to commute to Stockport office site
