A well-established Mechanical Engineering Contractor based in Stockport is looking to appoint an Office Administrator to support its busy operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a career within the construction and engineering sector.
The Role
Provide administrative support across the office, including handling calls, emails, and correspondence.
Assist with document control, filing, and project documentation.
Support managers with scheduling meetings, diary management, and general office coordination.
Process invoices, purchase orders, and assist with basic finance admin.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors in a professional manner.
Ensure smooth day-to-day running of office operations.
About You
Previous experience in an office administration role (construction/engineering background advantageous but not essential).
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
