Purchase Ledger Clerk – Part Time - Temporary
- Hourly Rate: £13.50-£15 per hour
- Location: Hazel Grove
- Hours: 15 per week
- Length: 3-months minimum
Our client is seeking a dedicated Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a Part-time Temporary basis
Duties:
- Accurately match, verify, and code purchase invoices
- Handle job invoices from subcontractors, including the collection of required documentation
- Prepare payments for suppliers and manage expense processing
- Oversee credit card expenditures and maintain supplier account details
- Perform reconciliations of supplier statements and oversee petty cash transactions
- Act as the primary contact for all supplier-related inquiries
- Process payments via credit card for customers and foster strong relationships with both customers and suppliers
- Regularly communicate with the Line Manager to provide updates on workload and discuss any pertinent issues
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Sage 200 experience is key
- Strong organisational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Previous experience in manufacturing would be desirable
