Purchase Ledger Clerk – Part Time - Temporary

  • Hourly Rate: £13.50-£15 per hour
  • Location: Hazel Grove
  • Hours: 15 per week
  • Length: 3-months minimum

Our client is seeking a dedicated Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a Part-time Temporary basis

Duties:

  • Accurately match, verify, and code purchase invoices
  • Handle job invoices from subcontractors, including the collection of required documentation
  • Prepare payments for suppliers and manage expense processing
  • Oversee credit card expenditures and maintain supplier account details
  • Perform reconciliations of supplier statements and oversee petty cash transactions
  • Act as the primary contact for all supplier-related inquiries
  • Process payments via credit card for customers and foster strong relationships with both customers and suppliers
  • Regularly communicate with the Line Manager to provide updates on workload and discuss any pertinent issues

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Sage 200 experience is key
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Previous experience in manufacturing would be desirable
