Job Title: Sales Account Manager

Location: Manchester - Hybrid/Remote or Onsite options available

Salary: £ DOE - 25 days holiday and Vitality Healthcare.

Job Type: Permanent

The Role:

We are seeking a driven and proactive Sales Manager who is looking for autonomy in their role to grow this new area of the business. You will utilise your knowledge within Air/ Sea freight logistics both import and export to support the wider business and strengthen the network delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities and manage client relationships
  • Communicating with clients, overseas partners, and agents
  • Support the wider business with compliance and to enable smooth movement of the goods.
  • Negotiating rates and providing quotations.
  • Ensuring all necessary paperwork and information are received for shipments.

You will ideally have Air Freight Sales experience from either an Account Management or New Business perspective and have a strong understanding of Operational procedures within the Freight industry. You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

This opportunity can be fully remote with travel to the client's site and the Head Office in Birmingham for Management meetings, alternatively, you may prefer to work hybrid or in a fully onsite role. Our client is extremely flexible when it comes to what suits your way of working in order for you to be successful and is therefore looking for an individual who wants autonomy to drive their own career path forward whilst being driven by the opportunity to deliver in the role.

Previous knowledge of Warehousing OR eCommerce experience would also be highly advantageous.
