About the Role:
Time Recruitment are currently seeking a Semi-Skilled or Skilled Bench Joiner to join our client who is based in Stockport. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in door and frame assembly, be confident using relevant power tools, and demonstrate a strong understanding of joinery techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble doors and frames to precise specifications
- Operate and maintain a range of power tools and woodworking machinery
- Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a bench joinery role
- Skilled in door and frame assembly
- Competent with power tools such as saws, routers, drills, and sanders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of health and safety practices in a workshop environment
Desirable:
- NVQ or equivalent qualification in Carpentry/Joinery
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
