Are you a Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for work? An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant who is hardworking, ambitious and inspiring. Hays are working with an SEN school in Stockport seeking a member of staff who can bring confidence, enthusiasm and motivation to the pupils, along with a smile and sense of humour.

Your new role:

This role is within a Primary SEN School in Stockport. You will work with students under the supervision of the class teacher, helping to deliver individualised learning plans. You will participate in and supervise students during activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing. It is critical that you a ttend to children's personal needs, including pastoral, social, health, physical hygiene, minor first aid and welfare matters.What you'll need to succeed:

The ideal candidate will have excellent behaviour management skills and knowledge of de-escalation strategies. You will be an understanding and empathetic individual who can take on challenging and stressful situations. You should have a Level 3 TA qualification and some experience in an SEN setting is desirable.
