Panel Wirer – 6-Month Contract / Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Location: Cheshire
Rate: £22–£24 per hour (Outside IR35 – Ltd Co. / Umbrella / PAYE)
Duration: Initial 6-month contract Or Temp to permanent
Start Date: Immediate start available
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (early finish on Fridays)

Join a Leading Engineering Firm

A respected and long-established engineering company in Cheshire is looking for skilled Panel Wirers to join their team. Due to a surge in new projects, this is a great opportunity to secure a long-term contract with the possibility of a permanent role.

Key Duties

• Build, rework, and repair PCBs
• Terminate cable assemblies (RF, power, and data cables)
• Cabinet, rack, and box wiring
• Crimping and soldering (22awg to 10awg cable)
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and engineering drawings
• Assemble mechanical racks and integrated systems
• Conduct inspections and testing of finished assemblies
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality

Required Skills & Experience

• Time-served electrician or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field
• Solid background in electro-mechanical assembly and cable integration
• Ability to work from complex drawings and schematics
• IPC 610/620 or J-STD certifications (desirable)
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Contract Highlights

• Outside IR35 – Ltd Company, Umbrella, or PAYE options
• On-site role only
• Flexible working hours across 4.5 days (early Friday finish)
