We have a fantastic opportunity for a Manufacturing Technician to join a well-established Global business who due to growth have moved to a brand new premises in the Stockport area.

This role is ideal for a candidate with an extremely high attention to detail and the dexterity to match it. It would suit someone with craft and finesse to compliment their observational skills, and enjoys working in a structured, process-driven environment. A background in manufacturing, optics, or electronics would be particularly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare optical sub-assemblies by cutting, cleaning, and mounting optics and related mechanical parts
  • Accurately pick and prepare kits to support optical laboratories
  • Liaise with Team Leaders and Managers to address any processing or quality concerns early
  • Support internal audit processes and participate in regular stock takes
  • Maintain accurate optics stock records, including thorough data entry
