We’re hiring for a Polisher to join a growing manufacturer at their site based in Reddish, Stockport.
In this role, you’ll be working with various metals to achieve high-quality finishes, playing an essential part in the production process.
What’s on offer?
- £12.00 - £13.50 per hour
- Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Early finish on Fridays
- Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)
- 29 days holiday
- Christmas bonus
- 1 week August shutdown (W/C 11th)
- Christmas party
What will you be doing as a Polisher?
- Perform polishing and grinding operations on metal components to achieve desired finishes
- Utilise hand tools and tooling equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct quality checks on finished products, ensuring they meet specifications
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly
What do you need?
- Proven experience working with various metals is highly desirable
- Proficient in using hand tools and tooling equipment for polishing tasks
- A full UK driving license
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
