We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to take the reins of our finance function during a 12-month maternity cover - with genuine potential for a permanent opportunity at the end.
About the Role:Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll be responsible for overseeing the full finance function, driving accuracy, insight, and integrity across our numbers. You'll manage the end-to-end production of management accounts, ensure timely and compliant payroll processing, and oversee the day-to-day workload of one Accounts Assistant, helping them to grow and thrive under your leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

Ownership of monthly management accounts and reporting packs

Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis

Payroll processing and related reporting

Cashflow forecasting and financial planning

Overseeing AP/AR and ensuring robust financial controls

Line management of an Accounts Assistant - coaching, development & support

Liaising with external auditors and stakeholders as needed
What We're Looking For:

Qualified or QBE finance professional (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent)

Proven experience in a similar Finance Manager or senior finance role

Strong understanding of management accounting, payroll and reporting

Excellent organisational and leadership skills

Confident communicator, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels

A proactive mindset with a can-do attitude
