Paraplanner Stockport Based £35,000 - £45,000 DOEFlexible WorkingAre you a talented Paraplanner with a passion for supporting financial planners and delivering exceptional client service? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paraplanner to join a thriving Independent Financial Advice (IFA) firm in the Stockport area. This exciting role offers the opportunity to support Consultants in providing, implementing, and reviewing strategies and advice for both private and corporate clients. Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support Financial Consultants in preparing accurate financial plans and suitability reports
  • Conduct research and analysis to meet client needs and objectives
  • Have a thorough understanding of holistic financial planning and feel confident querying Consultants when necessary
  • Provide expert knowledge on areas such as Inheritance Tax Planning, Trusts, Bonds, and higher-risk investments like EIS/VCT/BPR
  • Assist the Head of Operations and Compliance with additional support as required
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships across the business to meet agreed targets
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements and promote a culture of responsibility in business operations
  • Manage individual workflow and ensure timely delivery
  • Continuously improve through professional development, meeting both regulatory and personal development goals
  • Offer technical guidance to the Client Services Team (CST), assisting with product-specific, technical, and compliance-based queries
  • Work closely with the CST to ensure accurate and compliant advice implementation
