Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a dedicated and reliable School Caretaker to join a welcoming Primary School in the SK4 area of Stockport. This full-time, long-term role will begin in September 2025 and offers the opportunity to become an essential part of the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

Opening and closing the school site each day

General maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the school grounds and facilities

Ensuring the school is clean, safe, and well-presented

Carrying out basic plumbing, joinery, and painting tasks as required

Monitoring and ordering cleaning/maintenance supplies

Assisting with setting up for school events
Requirements:
-
Previous experience as a caretaker (preferably in a school environment)

Strong practical skills for minor repairs and maintenance
-
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
-
Reliability, flexibility, and a proactive attitude
-
A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
