Ganymede Solutions are working with one of the largest UK Train Operating Companies who are seeking to recruit an Semi Skilled Fitter to work on their modifications programme on digital equipment installations at Manchester International Depot. Ganymede Solutions are an AIMs listed recruitment agency, specialising in the transportation, infrastructure, construction and engineering sectors.
You will be working on a multi-million-pound digitalisation upgrade project for one of the UKs leading TOCs, as they finalise modifying the digital equipment & facilities for their fleet.
The Role:
As an Semi Skilled Fitter, you will be assisting in electrical installations for a digital modifications upgrade.
You will be working on basic wiring and fitting for Wi-Fi installations, ethernet backbone installations, NVR/CCTV, passenger information systems, USB sockets and drivers cab upgrades.
The position will be days only, Monday to Friday. 50 hour working week as standard.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in electrical assembly/sub-assembly, panel wiring or electrical improvements (commercial or industrial)
- Can communicate with the team clearly to ensure that work is completed to a high standard and within the specified timeframe
- Is proactive in supporting the team to complete all tasks
- Are able to start on 2nd June
- Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test
- Be able to pass a full railway medical – this will include, sight, hearing, colourisation, heart, lungs, brain, etc
- Provide your Right to Work documents before deployment
- Happy to help mentality/attitude
