HR Advisor (Permanent)

Are you a confident, people-focused HR professional ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our client's team in a dynamic, generalist role with a strong focus on employee relations.

This company believe in trust, and empowering their people. You’ll be primarily based in Stockport, with the option to work 1 day per week following probation. Some travel to our other UK sites will be required, so a driving licence and access to transport is essential.

What you’ll be doing:

As a key member of the HR team, you will provide practical, timely and professional HR support across the business. Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a varied caseload of employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance issues
  • Coaching and advising line managers on HR policies and best practice
  • Supporting workforce planning, restructures and change management projects
  • Contributing to HR policy development and continuous improvement of HR processes

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a similar HR Advisor or generalist HR role
  • Strong knowledge and application of UK employment law and employee relations
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels
  • Willingness to travel to sites as required (with expenses covered)
