We're seeking a proactive, results-driven Account Manager to cultivate and expand key customer relationships across the UK and Ireland. In this field-based role, your primary focus will be delivering exceptional customer service, fostering long-term client partnerships, and driving sustainable sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for Silver, Gold, and Platinum accounts, ensuring each client receives personalized and attentive service. Build trust and loyalty by actively listening to client needs, addressing concerns promptly, and consistently exceeding expectations.
- Account Growth: Lead regular client meetings to understand their evolving needs, identify opportunities, and present tailored solutions that add value.
- Sales & Quotations: Identify sales opportunities, prepare competitive quotes in line with our pricing policy, and follow up to secure business.
- Product Trials: Manage product trials, providing hands-on support to ensure successful outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Client Events: Organize and attend exhibitions, meetings, and industry events to enhance client engagement and showcase our offerings.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
- Contract Management: Oversee contract renewals, service level agreements (SLAs), and purchase orders with support from your manager.
- Account Reviews: Monitor product usage and spending to identify opportunities for growth and increased profitability.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to improve conversions and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Travel Management: Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for meetings and events efficiently.
- Strategic Input: Share customer insights to support and shape business strategies.
- Additional Duties: Undertake other tasks as required by senior management to support business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct impactful meetings with key stakeholders of both new and existing clients to understand their needs and strengthen relationships.
- Build and maintain robust client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and expanding the range of services utilized.
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities to develop a strong pipeline that meets or exceeds business targets.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to key stakeholders, including senior executives and board members, as part of the pre-sales strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams to accurately scope client requirements and manage expectations effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system, including meeting notes and client details, to facilitate pipeline management and sales progression.
- Take personal ownership of the sales pipeline, including forecasting and developing strategies to achieve sales objectives.
