Freelance position (initial duration of circa 6 months)
Overview
Are you an experienced Architectural Technologist with good AutoCAD skills and would be interested in some freelance work with a highly respected Architectural practice in the Stockport area?
If so, then I am keen to speak with you about a role with our client on their exciting new project.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist to support the detailed design of a sizeable new commercial / hospitality project.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with the wider design team to translate concept into detailed technical drawings and construction documents.
- Ensure the technical accuracy and compliance of architectural drawings and specifications.
- Attend site visits and liaise with all necessary stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of the scheme.
Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience within a design consultancy environment.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD is essential.
- Experience of steel frame and SFS construction methods
- A portfolio demonstrating suitable experience, ideally of projects within the hospitality or leisure sectors.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplined design and delivery teams.
- Good technical knowledge and a keen eye for details.
