Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Drainage Engineer to join the team.

The main purpose of the Drainage Engineer is to work alongside our repairs team performing below ground drainage, replace manhole frames and excavate by hand when needed.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to 18ph, depending on experience.

This is a full-time/part time, permanent/contract role (delete if not needed). The hours of work will be 07:00 – 16:00 but need to be flexible for occasional stay aways, night shifts etc.  

Reporting to the hiring manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Repair below-ground drainage systems to a high standard.
  • Replace manhole frames and covers efficiently.
  • Excavate by hand (not solely reliant on machinery).
  • Replace gullies with precision and care.
  • Complete all types of reinstatements (paving, tarmac, concrete, etc.).

The ideal candidate:

  • Hold a full and valid UK driving licence (essential).
  • Have a proactive approach to problem-solving, taking pride in delivering quality work.
  • Be flexible with working hours to meet project demands.
