Our client a multi-disciplined practice who are Property Experts in Project Management, Construction, Surveying and Architectural Services based in Stockport are currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a young and growing company to lead and develop a mechanical team with full autonomy working in the education and residential sectors. This role would provide quick progression to Associate Director and potential profit share after 3 years.

Senior Mechanical Engineer Position Overview
  • Manage projects effectively to ensure that the co-ordination of technical elements is achieved to meet project targets.
  • ?Provide full line management responsibilities for the Mechanical team supporting the growth and development of our junior, intermediate and senior engineers.
  • ?Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with legal and technical regulations, codes of practice or guidelines.
  • ?Ensure that the designs are delivered within the planned programme for projects and that the designs are within budget.
  • ?Provide exceptional proficiency in mechanical building services design, and a deep comprehension of technical requirements, legislation, and industry best practice.
  • ?Exhibit a strong commercial acumen and exercise financial oversight, monitoring project expenditure against established targets.
Senior Mechanical Engineer Position Requirements
  • Professionally qualified to degree level or equivalent.
  • Ideally professionally registered with CIBSE and/or IET.
  • Prior experience in a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role working within another consultancy in the built environment.
