We are recruiting qualified teachers to work in Special Needs Schools across Stockport. Whether you're an experienced SEN teacher or a mainstream teacher looking to transition into special education, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:You'll be working with pupils with a range of needs including autism, complex learning difficulties, sensory impairments, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges. Your role will be to create engaging, inclusive lessons that promote progress, independence, and confidence.

We're Looking for Teachers Who:

  • Have QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Are passionate about SEN and inclusive education

  • Can adapt teaching methods to individual learning styles

  • Have strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Are creative, calm, and resilient

Desirable Experience (not essential):

  • Experience with PECS, Makaton, or Visual Learning Aids

  • Knowledge of EHCPs and differentiation

  • Experience supporting pupils with complex needs

  • Team Teach, Moving and Handling, or other relevant training
