Our fabulous client is looking now to add a Property Inventory Clerk to the team. This is a brand-new position and is pivotal to the smooth and efficient property management that they company is known for.

This is a busy & varied role where you will be be responsible for conducting property inspections, compiling accurate inventory reports, and managing check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and compliant tenancy process. Ideally you'll have some property experience, but if you are a true people person with a solid administration background with a genuine interest in property, then we want to hear from you too! 

Please note, a full driving license is ESSENTIAL for this role. 

Hours:                         Monday – Friday 9am-5:30pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays (9am-4pm)

What you'll be doing... 

  • Perform detailed inspections of properties before, during, and after tenancy.
  • Record the condition of fixtures, fittings, furniture (if furnished), and overall cleanliness.
  • Create comprehensive inventory reports documenting the contents and condition of the property.
  • Use written descriptions and photographs to support findings.
  • Meet tenants at the beginning and end of tenancies to complete check-in and check-out reports.
  • Compare the property condition against the original inventory report.
  • Note any damage, missing items, or maintenance issues.
  • Flag discrepancies that may impact deposit returns.
  • Communicate professionally with tenants, landlords, and letting agents regarding inspection outcomes.
  • Address queries or concerns related to inventory and condition reports.
  • Keep digital and/or physical records of all inspections and reports.
