Search Recruitment are currently working with an industry leading engineering company that supply equipment to customers across the UK. The successful candidate must be mechanically biased with previous welding experience. Previous experience as a fitter would also be advantageous. This is a great opportunity to join a company that continues to grow. Previous experience working with heavy machinery is essential. Although this role is workshop based there may be occasions where you are asked to support the field support teams. Duties of this role will include:

  • Maintenance and repairs of machinery
  • Conducting routine quality checks
  • Assembling parts for new machinery
  • Assembling machinery
  • Managing job records
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety practices

The successful candidate must:

  • Have previous mechanical experience
  • Have experience working on heavy or plant machinery
  • Have previous Mig welding experience
  • Have relevant qualifications
  • Be an effective communicator (both written and verbal)
