Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a Level 4 qualification (or equivalent)? Are you confident covering classes and delivering engaging learning in the absence of the class teacher? If so, we want to hear from you!

Tradewind is working closely with a welcoming and supportive Primary School in the Reddish area of Stockport, which is seeking a HLTA to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and capable HLTA looking to make a real impact in the classroom.

About the role:
  • Full-time, long-term position

  • Covering classes across the primary age range

  • Supporting children's learning and development in line with the National Curriculum

  • Collaborating closely with teaching staff to plan and deliver high-quality lessons

The ideal candidate will:
  • Hold a Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

  • Have experience covering classes and delivering lessons

  • Be proactive, flexible, and committed to making a positive difference

  • Possess excellent communication and behaviour management skills
