Equitas is working on behalf ofan outstanding primary school in Stockport, to recruit a caring and enthusiastic Before and After School Club Worker. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment, helping children enjoy safe, engaging, and stimulating activities before and after school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage children in a range of activities, promoting social, emotional, and physical development.

  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.

  • Support children during breakfast or snack times.

  • Encourage positive behaviour and model good social skills.

  • Assist with setting up and tidying away activities and resources.

  • Maintain records of attendance and any significant incidents.

  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues.

Person Specification:

  • Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or club setting is desirable.

  • A caring, patient, and approachable manner.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

  • Must hold a current Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate.
