1:1 Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Stockport
Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming Primary School in the Stockport area who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a child in Key Stage 1 (KS1) with complex needs on a 1:1 basis.
This is a full-time role, running until the end of the academic year, and would suit an experienced professional with a strong background in SEND support. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, dependable, and bring an enthusiastic attitude to every day in the classroom.
The successful candidate will:-
Have extensive experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Demonstrate a calm and compassionate approach, building trust and consistency with the child

Be proactive and adaptable to support the child's academic, emotional and social development

Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external professionals as needed
