Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

About the School:

Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain valuable, hands-on experience working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? This is an excellent opportunity to build practical skills and make a genuine difference in a supportive school environment.

We are recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with pupils who may have Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties, providing tailored support that helps them feel understood, supported, and able to succeed.

  • Help implement EHCPs and individual support strategies
  • Observe, monitor, and record pupil progress
  • Create a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Psychology graduates
  • Individuals with a strong interest in child development, mental health, or SEN
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient candidates
  • Previous SEN or care experience is beneficial but not essential

To Be Eligible You Must:

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK
  • Have an enhanced child barred list DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)
  • Be able to provide two professional references (child-related preferred)
