Your New Job

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teacher to join the team from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will be responsible for delivering a broad and balanced curriculum tailored to the individual needs of pupils with SEMH and additional learning needs. You'll work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and senior leaders to create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering differentiated lessons across core subjects
  • Managing behaviour using positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies
  • Working collaboratively with the wider team to support EHCP targets
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to review meetings

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly SEMH
  • Strong classroom management skills and a calm, empathetic approach
  • A commitment to inclusive education and personalised learning
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
