Sports Coach

Aspire People are looking for a Sports Coach, for a role in the Marple, Stockport, Greater Manchester within a primary school. The school are looking for an experienced sports coach to spend 50% of their time working with children in the classroom and the other 50% delivering sports / PE. The school is based centrally in the Stockport area and caters for students aged 5 - 11. The school have a high percentage of children with SEND, predominantly those children are on the autism spectrum and many of their students, display challenging behaviours. The school is Ofsted judged "Outstanding" and has brilliant facilities on site. The role, will require you to work on a 1:1 and small group basis when you're not delivering PE and you will be expected to coach students in a range of sports, the rest of the time. You will be expected to work with students who have additional needs and some of these pupils, will display challenging behaviours. The candidate, must be available full time and able to work from 8:30am 3:30pm Monday - Friday. The candidate must have some experience working with children and ideally be from a sports coaching background. The candidate must be confident, hard working and empathetic.
