Well look no further, as Ganymede Solutions are partnering with a well-recognised, award winning UK train operating company who are looking to hire a Train Cleaner to join the team based in Stockport, Greater Manchester.

What will I be doing?

As a Train Cleaner, you will be carrying out a full clean on the interior of the train, which means you will be cleaning everything from the roof of the train to the bottom of the train, within public view. Typical duties include:

  • Wiping down surfaces
  • Sanitizing touch points
  • Hoovering
  • Mopping
  • Dusting
  • Cleaning & restocking the toilets

You will be working on a shift roster across Sunday to Saturday, working on a on a rolling 7 day turnover pattern, which is working 4 or 5 nights with 3 or 4 rest days over the rota period. The working hours will be 21:15 – 06:00am.

 

What do we need?

  • Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test
  • Be able to pass a full rail medical – this will include, sight, hearing, colourisation, heart, lungs, etc…
  • Be able to attend and pass 1 week of training, commencing on 15/09/2025
  • Provide your Right to Work documents before deployment
  • Happy to help mentality/attitude.
