Cover People are seeking confident and capable Year 7 Tutors in both English and Maths to support students working below age-related expectations in the Heaton Chapel / Stockport area. These roles are ideal for subject specialists with strong intervention and SEND experience, focused on accelerating progress and building core skills in a supportive secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated tuition to Year 7 students
- Implement effective intervention strategies to support progress
- Track and record pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
- Work collaboratively with teaching and SEND teams
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
Essential Criteria
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching KS2 and KS3 English or Maths (role dependent)
- Knowledge of KS2–KS3 transition and intervention strategies
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Right to work in the UK
