Utilities Administrator Role

NC Associates are working exclusively with a long established property organisation based in South Manchester to help recruit a Utilities Administrator. As a Utilities Administrator  you will be working closely with various departments within the business including finance, property management, external suppliers to execute key utility administrative work-flows including billing, change of tenancy, invoicing, and meter-related processes in support of service delivery excellence.

Utilities Administrator Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices and manage disputes/missing items.
  • Handle tenant recharge calculations, meter reads, and validations.
  • Administer change of tenancy processes and asset data updates.
  • Liaise with Customer Engagement Managers, Asset Managers, Facility Managers, customers, and suppliers as part of end-to-end change of tenancy coordination.
  • Track and execute metering service requests.
  • Provide first-line communication to customers and suppliers.
  • Support data entry, reporting, and audit trail maintenance.

Utilities Administrator Essential Experience Required

  • Previous experience within utilities, billing or property admin
  • Administrative precision and time management.
  • Effective communicators with customer, suppliers, tenants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with utility platforms and Excel.
  • Capable of working under monthly cycle pressures.
