We’re hiring for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our dedicated and skilled workforce at an advanced manufacturing facility based in Stockport, Greater Manchester.

What will you be doing as an HGV Mechanic?
- Performing tasks as necessitated by your role within the organisation and its overall business objectives
- Maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles in line with industry standards
- Diagnosing faults using technical documents and tools
- Implementing quality, safety, and environmental systems and processes
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations
- Maintaining a high standard of planning and organisation to ensure efficient operation
- Communicating effectively with team members and management
What do you need?
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an HGV Mechanic
- HGV Mechanic Certification (City and Guilds / NVQ)
- Level 3 Diploma in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- Experience in vehicle assembly or maintenance (Desirable)
- A solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills
