Welder / Fabricator – Permanent Position

Location: Stockport

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7 – 5, Fridays 8 - 12

Salary: From £15.27 per hour DOE

We are working with a well-established, family-run fabrication business based in Stockport who are looking to add an experienced Wedler / Fabricator to their team. With decades of experience supplying high-quality bespoke products across multiple industries.

Welder / Fabricator

The Role:

·       MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.

·       Reading and working from engineering drawings to produce bespoke products to exact specifications.

·       Fabrication and assembly of components, including cutting, bending, and finishing work.

·       Working as part of a small, collaborative team to deliver high-quality, custom-made products.

·       Maintaining a clean, safe working environment in line with health and safety standards.

Welder / Fabricator

What We’re Looking For:

·       Proven experience as a Welder in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

·       Skilled in MIG welding (TIG experience advantageous).

·       Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

·       Strong attention to detail and a pride in delivering top-quality work.

·       A team player with a positive attitude.
