Who this job would suit

This role would suit an experienced IWT/EWT & CSWIP 3.1 certified welding professional with recognised experience who thrives on maintaining exceptional quality standards. It is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to lead coordination activities, while also supporting wider engineering projects. Adaptability and proactive problem-solving skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with welding standards and procedures, acting as Responsible Welding Coordinator.
  • Lead planning data for welding activities in SAP and coordinate welder audits.
  • Identify and resolve welding issues using structured problem-solving methods.
  • Develop Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and standard operating procedures for new and legacy programmes.
  • Support production engineering and design teams on welding matters, driving improvements and change.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Technical Welding position with excellent knowledge of Weld procedures
  • IWT/EWT certified or above
  • CSWIP 3.1 certified

Salary: 60k - 65k
