What is the role?


We are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our busy Accounts team. This will be a varied role which will require the role holder to carry out purchase ledger duties.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Process all purchase invoices and obtain approval for payment
  • Carry out supplier statement reconciliations
  • Requesting supplier statements, to assist the cashier with compiling purchase ledger payments
  • Dealing with supplier queries over the phone and via email
  • Any other accounting duties reasonably required by the Finance Manager
What experience do I need?
  • Experience in a similar accounting role
  • Previous experience in the construction industry would be an advantage but not essential
  • Experience of using Microsoft applications especially Excel
  • Must be organised, diligent and able to work under pressure
