Job Title: Internal Sales Manager

Salary: £35,000–£40,000 base + commission (OTE £60,000 in Year 1)
About the Role
A growing, UK-based manufacturer is seeking a driven and experienced Internal Sales Manager to lead its internal sales function. Known for delivering high-quality, bespoke solutions across a variety of industries, the company is expanding and looking for someone to help take its sales team to the next level.
This is a hands-on leadership position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys developing talent. You'll be responsible for coaching a team of Internal Account Managers and Business Development Executives, setting clear KPIs, and driving performance — while also managing key strategic accounts yourself.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the internal sales team to exceed individual and team targets
- Define, implement, and track clear KPIs and performance metrics
- Deliver effective training, call coaching, and professional development plans
- Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability and continuous improvement
- Oversee and optimise the sales pipeline, ensuring full and accurate use of CRM
- Collaborate with marketing and senior leadership to align sales strategy with business goals
- Personally handle and close high-value or strategically important deals
- Report on team performance, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasts
About You
- Demonstrable experience leading a successful internal sales team
- Strong grasp of B2B sales techniques and consultative selling
- A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and development skills
- Comfortable working with KPIs, CRMs, and performance dashboards
- Hands-on and commercially minded, with a proactive attitude
- Background in automotive or manufacturing is advantageous, but not essential
