Cleveland Cable Company are excited to be recruiting for a brand- new position within the Credit Control Department. We are looking for a Credit Risk Coordinator to join our team in the Middlesbrough office on a full-time permanent basis. This role is pivotal in assisting with credit risk and ensuring the financial stability of our operations.
As this is a new role for the business, we are looking for someone with a strong Credit Control/ Credit Risk background, to be able to use their own initiative/creativity to implement credit policies and procedures to mitigate risk. We are seeking someone that is wanting to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities
- Assess and analyse credit risk for new and existing customers.
- Monitor customer accounts for payment trends and potential issues.
- Collaborate with sales teams to evaluate customer creditworthiness.
- Prepare detailed reports on credit risk exposure and recommend actions.
- Conduct regular reviews of credit limits and terms based on financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Credit Control- Ad hoc duties.
Requirements
- Proven experience in credit risk or credit Control.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams.
- Ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Self-sufficient.
