Junior Electrical Engineer - Teesside
My client is a technical engineering solutions provider within built environment who currently require a Junior Electrical Engineer to join their operations on a permanent basis.
Role:
- Assist with E&I field design and delivery as part of a site project team.
- Co-ordinate contractor activities to monitor and track work ensuring delivery of the schedule and budget.
- Assist with the Project Management and control of E&I Projects including cost estimates and reporting.
- Understanding detailed scope of work packages for E&I contractor for tender / procurement process.
- Preparation of E&I Deliverables, including instrument data sheets, schedules, hook up drawings, wiring and block diagrams, instrument loops, E&I Services layouts, schedules, load study's etc.
- Co-ordination of E&I site team during construction and commissioning activities.
- Assist E&I Superintendent with the specification and procurement of Instrumentation and Electrical items.
- Carry out procurement of materials from quotation through to Goods received note.
- Review project scope, budget & schedule.
- Comply with all aspects of Health & Safety on site.
- Programming works schedule and monitoring building progress, compliance with regulations and costs.
- Raising technical query’s & requests for information.
Requirements:
- BE Degree in Engineering – Electrical preferred.
- 1-2 years’ post qualification experience.
- Knowledge of E&I Contracting Environment.
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team.
- Excellent IT Skills.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
Salary & Package
- 28k per annum.
- Working hours 08:45 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday, 08:45 to 15:45 Friday.
- 23 days holiday plus statutory holidays.
- Opportunity for paid overtime.
- Extensive travel throughout the UK with fully expensed travelling time, accommodation and transportation.
- 3% company pension contribution In addition you may be eligible for entry into the Company’s non-contractual performance based bonus scheme.
