Financial Planning Lead | Teesside | Public Sector | Hybrid working

Castlefield are partnering with a well established Teesside-based Public Sector organisation, in order to recruit a Financial Planning Lead into their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact within a reputable organisation during a time of exciting change.

Duties include;

  • Leadership of financial planning and treasury operations
  • Ownership and development of 30-year business plan
  • Perform scenario modelling to assess impacts on covenants and align financial planning with the long-term strategic direction
  • Collaborate with the development finance team and senior stakeholders to integrate updates in development programs
  • Prepare and present reports to senior leadership
  • Lead on cashflow management, and support loan forecasting and drawdowns
  • Prepare regulatory returns

Requirement;

  • Qualified Accountant (desirable)
  • Ability to build influential relationships at senior level (essential)
  • Highly analytical and strategic with the ability to manipulate large datasets (essential)
