What You'll Be Doing:

Join our team as a CAMHS Practitioner and play a vital role in supporting children and young people with mental health challenges. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments for children and young people.
  • Developing and implementing personalised care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support emotional well-being and recovery.
  • Offering crisis intervention and risk management strategies to ensure the safety of young people.
  • Liaising with families, schools, social workers, and other professionals to deliver holistic care.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with NHS standards and guidelines.
  • Offering guidance and psychoeducation to families and caregivers.
Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and valid NMC registration (or relevant professional body registration).
  • Previous experience in CAMHS or working with children and adolescents in mental health settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM. The contract is for an initial 3-month period with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
