Clinical Pharmacist

Background –
A great opportunity has arisen with a forward-thinking GP Surgery in Stockton-on-Tees, looking for a full time Clinical Pharmacist. The role will consist of usual Clinical Pharmacist duties such as SMRs, Polypharmacy, Discharge Letters, Meds Reconciliation, etc. The practice is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist with a strong background in primary care and as a full independent prescriber. The practice is very highly regarded and has a very high patient satisfaction. There are no home visits and no extended hours expected.

Minimum Requirement - You will need to be a prescriber with Primary Care experience!

Salary – £45,000 - £55,000 per annum FTE DOE + NHS pension + 6 weeks Annual Leave + Bank Holidays + 1 week study + Indemnity

Location – Stockton-on-Tees

Your role –

• Sole Clinical Pharmacist to oversee all Pharmacy duties.
• Be the point of contact for pharmacy duties and queries - SMRs, Polypharmacy, Discharge Letters, Meds Reconciliation, etc.
• Prescribing a minimum requirement
• Work alongside a strong MDT
• Opportunities to develop as a clinician
• No home visits and no extended hours

• Salary up to £55,000 FTE DOE (£28.20 per hour)
• NHS pension
• 6 week Annual Leave + Bank Holidays pro rata
• 1 week study pro rata
