Description

  • Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and partners.
  • Manage budgets, cost control, valuations, and forecasting.
  • Process subcontractor orders, payments, variations, and reports.
  • Prepare tenders and procure materials in line with company procedures.
  • Monitor cost movements and produce accurate financial reports.
  • Attend site and project meetings, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • Maintain systems and databases (COINS, Excel) and support commercial functions on-site.

Profile

A successful Quantity Surveyor (QS) should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and cost management.
  • Experience in the property industry, particularly within the construction department.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for cost estimation and reporting.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
