The role operates on a rolling contract, providing consistent and stable work at 16-18 per hour via umbrella, working 25 hours per week.
As a Support Worker, you'll be delivering person-centred support, working closely with individuals to develop tailored support plans, promote safety, and empower them to take positive steps forward. You'll provide both one-to-one and group support while ensuring the service remains safe, compliant, and customer-focused.

As a Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Delivering daily support and creating a safe, secure environment for customers
Developing support plans around housing, benefits, safety, budgeting, and wellbeing
Encouraging independence and confidence through one-to-one sessions and group activities
Managing safeguarding concerns and completing risk assessments
Working independently within a lone-working setting while contributing to the wider team
We're interested in anyone who has:
Experience supporting vulnerable client groups
A good understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and support planning
Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach
Good IT skills and the ability to maintain accurate records

Shift Pattern:
This role includes sleepover-style shifts working:
Day 1: 11am-11pm
Day 2: 8am-12pm
Shift dates needed before Christmas: 12th-13th, 15th-16th, and 24th-25th
We are open to candidates who can cover some or all of these dates.
This role is based in Middlesbrough and is easily accessible by major public transport routes, including local bus links and key road networks. It is suitable for candidates travelling from Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees, Redcar, Hartlepool, Darlington, Thornaby, Billingham, and Guisborough. Free or easily available parking is offered depending on shift.
