What the role involves:You'll be a key part of the firm's tax function - handling a varied portfolio of corporate clients from diverse industries. Your role will blend client-facing engagement with technical tax delivery and mentoring responsibilities. Specifically, you'll:
- Prepare corporate tax computations, tax accounts and deferred tax workings
- Manage your own portfolio of corporate clients
- Act as a trusted point of contact for both clients and HMRC
- Build strong working relationships across internal teams (tax, audit, and accounts)
- Support and mentor junior team members, including apprentices
- Contribute to the development of advisory work and client strategy discussions
What we're looking for:We're after someone who is technically capable, but also thrives in a people-focused, collaborative setting. You'll ideally bring:
- ATT qualification, and either CTA-qualified or studying toward it
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a strong appetite for growth
- Clear, confident communication skills
- Experience working within a practice setting on corporate tax matters
- A desire to get stuck in, support your team, and be part of something bigger
